Profile

Jon Duncan grew up in Southern Alberta before moving to Provo Utah to attend Brigham Young University. At BYU, he received a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in history. After graduation, he enrolled at the University of Victoria and in 2001 he received his Bachelor of Laws degree. He was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in February 2002 and has now joined the team at Dick Byl Law Corporation.

Jon will focus his practice in the area of criminal matters. This work will find Jon frequently at the Prince George Court House appearing in Court. He is an advocate for adult and youth charged with offences as well as a patron for child protection cases.

In addition to maintaining a busy practice, Jon serves on the executive of the Prince George Bar Association and the CBA Criminal Bar subsection. To maintain balance in his life after work, Jon finds time to fish the lakes and streams in the area. When that season ends, he finds himself surfing the web or designing computers.
