Profile

Kerri grew up in the lower mainland before moving to Prince George in 1995 to attend what was then the "brand new" University of Northern BC. She spent 3 years in Kingston, Ontario while attending the School of Law at Queen's University and very much enjoyed the historical setting of Canada's first Capital. Kerri happily returned to Prince George to practice law and was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in May 2002. She joined the team at Dick Byl Law Corporation in April 2004.

In addition to working in a busy legal practice, Kerri serves as a Panel Member on the Employment and Assistance Appeal Tribunal; Treasurer of the Prince George Bar Association; volunteer counsel at the Pro Bono Legal Clinic; Board Member for the Northern Family Health Society and she recently accepted an advisory position with the Research Ethics Committee of the University of Northern BC.

To balance out her life with work Kerri enjoys riding horses, gardening, golf, music and theatre and is a "super-fan" for the PG Women's Rec Hockey league through the winter months.
