Profile

Stephen is a long-term resident of Northern British Columbia. Born and raised in Fort Nelson, Stephen honed his analytical skills on "Reach for the Top", the TV quiz show for students. After graduating in 1982 from Fort Nelson Secondary School, he explored other provinces and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary and his Law degree, at the University of Western Ontario.

As a solicitor, Stephen spends a substantial portion of his practice on all aspects of Real Estate Conveyancing, including buying, selling and mortgaging property.

As part of his Corporate & Business Law practice, Stephen assists clients in the incorporation of companies, the negotiation of Shareholder Agreements, and the purchase and sale of shares or assets of companies.

And as part of his Wills & Estates practice, Stephen assists clients in the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney and Representation Agreements. He also provides advice on certain aspects of Estate planning.

In his personal time, Stephen's enthusiasm and zest for athletic achievements takes on another order. His passion lies in Triathlons which involve swimming, cycling and running. Stephen represented Canada in the World Triathlon Championships in Perth, Australia in 1997. But he is most proud of completing the Ironman Canada Triathlon, held in Penticton, BC. Consisting of a 3.8 km swim, 180 km bike and a 42.2 km marathon run, Stephen has completed the Ironman, in every year since 1992. Needless to say, he is as dedicated to fitness as he is, with work.
